Dell Comic Book covers were typically painted, rather than standard illustration.
Dell Brand Comics were always in the upper price segment of comic book publishers. If the competition was 12 cents, Dell pushed 15 cent issues, and so on. Dell was usually the 1st publisher to raise prices.
A Ghost was a resident feature of most covers and it was not uncommon for Dell to reprint stories in later issues, not informing the buyer
