Hundreds of issues were collected and accumulated in the 1960s.  New publishers were eager to get their new Zines distributed.  Established publishers freely shared their mailing lists.  I got on some and my mailbox exploded. Free mailings! I loved every minute of it

Many of the publisher /  editors of the Fanzines, then in their adolescent and teen years, became giants in the Comic Book Industry during the late Silver Age and into the Bronze and then the Modern Ages.  Thank you guys, you help in this old man's education 70 years ago
